    love love love philz coffee!! this location in particular is my go-to for coffee chats and coffee. the outside walls are very pretty, there is ample seating + a patio area, and the inside is cozy and vibey. service is friendly. the drinks usually take a long time though, so i would recommend ordering ahead if possible. also, note that there is pretty limited parking. other than that, come here for great drinks and good vibes!

    I took a couple months' hiatus from the Middlefield Philz because of my previous experiences, then started coming back. I decided to try Philz on Middlefield at least 10 times before rewriting my review. I'm extremely happy to say that my coffees have been consistently wonderful each and every time. I love coming here to do work, chat with friends, or grab some bean water. Only "negative" thing now is that it's so popular that even ordering ahead at peak hours can take 30+ mins. (That just shows how good it is!) I've never experienced Forest having a 30+ wait time, so something to keep in mind. They also re-painted their parking lines in the lot behind the liquor store, so it's a little bit easier to park now. I am now a happy returning customer, and it's no longer a gamble when I come!

    Philz coffee is fantastic!!! They have lots of different coffee roasts and a ton of sweeteners. So far my favorite is the tesoro roast with honey Coffee quality is great, the baristas are quick and friendly, and the portions are huge! The patio has plenty of seating and is very colorful. This is a great place to grab a coffee and sit in the sun/shade!
